UW Family Gardening Day

This annual showcase of gardening ideas runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the university’s D.C. Smith Instructional Greenhouses and Allen Centennial Gardens. UW garden experts will be on hand with advice, demonstrations and answers to your questions. Plenty of hands-on activities for kids. Demonstrations or displays of accessible gardening, raised beds, container gardening, cold frames, organic lawn care, rock gardens and much more.
