Description
The Atacama Large Millimeter Array is a huge radio telescope array now under construction on the high plateau of Atacama in Chile. Ed Churchwell, Department of Astronomy, who is closely connected to the project, will explain how this new instrument will work and give a preview of the innovative research for which the telescope is designed.
