Description
Gather for a personal story on the devastating impacts of coffee rust on coffee production and some adaption strategies presented by Cristian Merlo, manager and producer, Las Diosas Cooperative in Nicaragua. Plant Pathology professor and LACIS affiliated faculty Caitilyn Allen will provide a historical perspective, and will join a panel discussion with Cristian, Professor Brad Barham of Agricultural and Applied Economics and Matt Early, Co-founder of Just Coffee Cooperative.
