Continuing Studies

The human figure is an ideal substrate for the study of many concepts associated with drawing. This eight-week class covers fundamentals such as proportion, gesture, perspective, value and light phenomena. Each class begins with a demonstration and proceeds with individual critiques of short and long poses. We also study master drawings and in-process works to discern their strengths and the techniques and processes employed. Instructor: Philip Salamone
