Professor Gordon Hutner, editor of American Literary History, will discuss the process of shaping essays into articles and how students can enhance the chances of getting their work accepted. He will also talk about what kinds of essays students should publish at various points in their careers and where they might send their articles, as well as how to choose those venues. Professor Hutner will also discuss the protocols of editorial review and correspondence with journal editors.
