Cineteca Film Screening - De Sica's "Il giardino dei Finzi-Contini"

Please join us on March 15th for Vittorio De Sica’s filmic adaptation of Giorgio Bassani’s novel “Il giardino dei Finzi-Contini.” Set in Ferrara in the late 1930s, “The Garden of the Finzi-Contini” tells the story of a rich and prominent Jewish family and of a young man that falls in love with the daughter of the family. The grown-up children spend their days in leisure, playing tennis and hosting parties at their villa, until the menacing world beyond the garden walls begins to creep in.
