Cineteca Film Screening - Antonioni's "La notte" ["The Night"]

Join us on March 12th at 7PM for Michelangelo Antonioni’s “La notte” (1961). “The Night,” the second film of his so-called “Incommunicability Trilogy,” follows the lives of the wealthy Giovanni (Mastroianni) and his wife Lidia (Moreau) as their marriage unravels and they start to flirt with others in search of a renewed sense of human connection. Antonioni makes use of aesthetics and intellect to showcase the alienation of the bourgeois human experience in a mechanized, Capitalist world.
