Design Principles for Presentations

As students we have all suffered through bad PowerPoint presentations. Utilizing principles of effective design can be the difference between an engaged audience and a sea of glazed-over eyes. In this workshop, we will look at the DesignLab's "CAT" of designing presentations (Conceptual, Aesthetic, and Technical aspects). We will discuss how to structure your presentation for your audience, explore common mistakes, and help you communicate your desired message clearly and effectively.
