Description
Pianist and UW-Madison Director of Jazz Studies Johannes Wallmann will present a free concert of new composition for jazz quintet and string orchestra in UW-Madison’s new Hamel Music Center. The concert will feature a group that includes New York veterans and internationally recognized recording artists Ingrid Jensen, trumpet; Dayna Stephens, saxophone; and Allison Miller, drums; as well as a 14-piece string orchestra conducted by Michael Dolan. Funded by UW-Madison’s Division of the Arts.
