Join us on Tuesday, March 2nd at 7:00PM for a discussion with UW-Madison alumni and TV/film producer, Patrick Callan. Patrick  is a television and film producer, living in Los Angeles. He graduated from UW-Madison in 2011, with degrees in Communication Arts (Radio, TV, Film) and Spanish Literature. On campus, he was a member of Hoofers Sailing, WUD Film Director, and Union President. His claim to fame was cutting the opening ribbon of the new Union South.  Patrick  got his start as a Page for CBS Television Studios, working on shows like The Price is Right and Real Time with Bill Maher. He then went on to work as a development assistant at the kids TV Network, The Hub and then spent 6 years at Amazon Studios, working his way from a coordinator to an executive. There he oversaw Golden Globe-winning Mozart in the Jungle, The Tick, Jean-Claude Van Johnson, Red Oaks, and the new Greg Daniels' series Upload. He also founded the LA chapter of Amazon's LGBTQ employee organization, GLAmazon. In addition to overseeing series,  Patrick  was part of the Content Management group, tasked with reviewing Amazon's film and series for offensive content and promoting authentic & diverse representation on screen. Currently,  Patrick  is a Vice President, Narrative Film and Television at Concordia Studio, the independent production company founded by Jonathan King, Davis Guggenheim, and Laurene Powell Jobs.   For anyone interested in the film or television industry, this discussion is sure to be both informative and entertaining.
