As part of her Design Studies Master in Fine Arts exhibition Tromp as Writ, Amanda Thatch will be spinning yarn in the window of the Ruth Davis Design Gallery on two Friday afternoons (04/16; 04/23) and livestreaming the performance. Thatch will be using this time to make thread and listen to stories on audiobook. The work in Tromp as Writ is about convergences of text and textiles, and this performance an additional way for Thatch to combine cloth and language in one experience.
