Chef Yusuf Bin-Rella is a culinary genealogist, connecting to his ancestors through food and cooking. He has worked in numerous local Madison restaurants and has been a chef at UW for over two decades. He has worked on projects with UW faculty and the Culinary Breeding Network.

Chef Bin-Rella is an avid farmer. He has managed a variety of farm spaces with diverse traditional and ethnic food systems and farming practices as part of TradeRoots, a Madison-based group of farmers and chefs.
