An Afternoon with Jos Charles

Join Illumination and The Studio Learning Community for An Afternoon with Jos Charles: Trans Poetics and the Power of Time .  Jos Charles is author of a Year & other poems (Milkweed Editions, 2022), a Pulitzer-finalist and winner of the 2017 National Poetry Series, and the founding-editor of THEM, the first trans literary journal in the US.  Jos Charles will teach a poetry workshop and join Paul Tran , Assistant Professor of English and Asian American Studies, in a panel on Trans Poetics and the Power of Time, moderated by Zack Lesmeister . A tentative schedule for the event is as follows: 1:30pm -  3:00pm: Poetry Workshop with Jos Charles 3:30pm - 4:30pm: Panel with Jos Charles and Paul Tran, moderated by Zack Lesmeister Refreshments will be served.
