Biostatistics and Medical Informatics Department Seminar with Hongtu Zhu, UNC-Chapel Hill

Dr. Zhu will discuss his lab's Causal Genetic Imaging Clinical (CGIC) Pathway, which proposes a statistical framework for joint analysis of genetic, imaging, and clinical (GIC) data collected in many large-scale biomedical studies like the UK Biobank and the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI). The framework is based on partially functional linear regression models and varying coefficient models to map CGIC pathways for phenotypes associated with brain-related disorders.
