Description
How will AI change the economy and society? This is difficult to answer because there are actually two kinds of AI. One will have minimal impact on economic growth and possibly lead to job losses. The other could greatly increase growth rates and improve human productivity. Unfortunately we are building the wrong kind. This talk will be a gentle, accessible introduction to the different kinds; and a discussion of how we can move towards building the right kind of AI.
Cost
Funding is provided by the Hilldale Lecture Series. This event is free and open to the public.
