Developing and Writing the Dissertation Proposal: Dissertation Support Series, Part 1

This workshop gives late-stage doctoral students the opportunity to learn about the process of writing a research proposal. We’ll talk about common issues (e.g., narrowing your topic, inviting faculty to be on your committee, knowing that your proposal is preliminary) and lead a discussion about how to approach this process. We’ll explore a variety of perspectives on approaching this step of your research process.
