Medication Take-Back Event

Spring cleaning? Be sure to clean out your medicine cabinet.  Drop off unused, unwanted, or expired medications at an upcoming medication take-back event hosted University Health Services and UWPD.

These events are open to all UW–Madison students, faculty, staff, and visitors. You can dispose of most prescription and over-the-counter medications (like vitamins, cold medicine, and Tylenol) at a medication take-back event. This includes pills, liquids, creams, powders, and patches, as well as inhalers and nebulizer solution. Some items cannot be accepted at medication take-back events, such as sharps, vapes/vape batteries, and illegal drugs.
