Description
Book talk by Douglas Haynes, Professor of English at UW-Oshkosh. The book explores student engagement and pedagogies for deeper learning through a series of case studies about environmental and sustainability programs, especially focused on community-based research and learning. These cases include UW Oshkosh, UW-Madison, Northland College (which unfortunately recently closed), UW Milwaukee and the Urban Ecology Center, and Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
