Description
A screening of Iron Ladies of Liberia about the first female president of an African nation. Following a 15-year civil war, many Liberians still struggle to provide food, shelter and education for their families.
The screening is presented by the Liberian Assistance Program (LAP) of Edgewood College and the UW-Madison Association of Fundraising Professionals. LAP is a nonprofit building a school in Cow Field, Liberia, and provides scholarships to elementary and college students.
