Description
Ashlan Musante, UW-Madison Genomics, presents on recent advances and technologies. The successful completion of the sequencing of the human genome, and those of other important model organisms, was a major milestone in the history of biological research. However, scientists are now aware that knowing the sequence of nucleotides (A, T, C and G) that comprise the genetic code is only a small piece of a much more complex picture of how DNA encodes biological function.
