Presentation by Tom Zinnen, Genetics/Biotechnology Center BioTrek Program and UW Extension. Parents and grandparents can explore a series of hands-on activities that show science as exploring the unknown, using simple materials in elegant ways to test ideas. This will be a hands-on Discovery! Thursday, with examples of using language arts to spur the creativity, skepticism, and ingenuity of young children.
