Description
Tropical cyclones are understood to react to climate variability. A topic of considerable interest is how they respond to anthropogenic climate change. Progress toward better understanding of the relationships between tropical cyclones and climate change has been made in the past decade, but there is still substantial uncertainty in both past and projected manifestations of these relationships. Our speaker will discuss the current state of knowledge and introduce recent findings on this topic.
