Description
Hear the exciting stories of anthropologists Alia Gurtov MS’13, PhD’16 and Sarah Traynor MS’14: members of the John Hawks team that discovered a new hominin species in South Africa. Gurtov climbed down into the cave and trekked the impossibly narrow passages to retrieve the fossils that opened a new chapter in the story of humankind. It’s an opportunity to learn about some of the amazing things happening at the UW and to connect with other alumni.
