Opening Reception: Across the Sea

We welcome you to attend the opening reception of Chen Cheng-Po's exhibition: Across the Sea. In this exhibition, the life of Chen is displayed through his art over time. This artist, alive from 1895-1947 captured the culture of his hometown through his pieces. He wanted to reform the aesthetic education in Taiwanese society. Over the years, Chen traveled from Tokyo, to Shanghai, to Taiwan. These stepping stones of movement in his life are reflected in his pieces. Be sure not to miss out on this historic exhibition!Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you all there!
