The Charles E. Brown Chapter of the Wisconsin Archeological Society presents Jordan Karsten of UW-Oshkosh, who will discuss the biological and behavioral consequences of the transition to agriculture in prehistory, with a focus on the paleo-genomics of some of the earliest farmers in Europe. Come hear how ancient DNA and skeletal analysis of human remains excavated from Verteba Cave in the Ukraine sheds a remarkable light on European prehistory.
