This session will focus on preparing students for community engagement through discussion and engagement with the topics of community-university relationships and power dynamics, bias, social identity, culture, and systems of privilege and oppression. In this workshop-style roundtable, we will discuss some important topics to incorporate into your community-engaged course and focus on concrete, actionable ways to prepare students to enter the community through activities and discussions.
