Participants will engage in a discussion centered around this year’s Go Big Read book selection, Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis. We will be hosting a panel discussion which will highlight some of the core themes from the book including: class and social mobility, economic and financial equity, poverty and unemployment, and family and culture. Panelists will highlight these themes as they relate to healthcare and health access.
