Beautify Lakeshore Preserve

Alternative Breaks doesn't just send people across the country to volunteer, there are plenty of opportunities right in our backyard! Come volunteer with Alternative Breaks and help keep Lakeshore Nature Preserve beautiful! A perfect study break and an excuse to be outside! We will meet at the Picnic Point Entrance next to Parking lot 129. Volunteers will then get to work removing the invasive species, Garlic Mustard, which can be a serious threat to biodiversity. Gloves and tools will be provided. Please come wearing closed toed shoes and long pants.  SIGN UP HERE!
