It might be the end of summer, but The Northern Hooks aren't ready for summer to be over just yet!
Madison, Wisconsin based band, THE NORTHERN HOOKS, continue to bring the Midwest a blend of music that attracts a variety of musical tastes and ages. For years, THE NORTHERN HOOKS have entertained and introduced original and cover music in genres ranging from folk rock and front porch blues, to indie rock and Motown. Their EP - Missing Keys introduces a raw, yet tuneful sound that unveils songwriting skills of the group. The songs "Kentucky Ave." and "Change" demonstrate the musical union of the band, as well as their developed and characterized sound. The self-produced and promoted EP has caught the ears of cyber listeners and live audiences of Wisconsin and neighboring states. A six member band, THE NORTHERN HOOKS are composed of David Wheaton on guitar, lead vocals, and bass, Dean Welch on guitar, lead vocals, Steven Hollerup on guitar, lead vocals, Galen Pardo on bass, guitar, and vocals, Jason Powers on keyboard and percussion, and Rob Borja on drums. Musically influenced by past and current music favorites, their song list selection engages and pleases an assortment of venues. THE NORTHERN HOOKS continue to promote and move the Midwest with their music.
