Join WISCAPE for an informative session centered on supporting refugee students in higher education. Our conversation will include an overview of statistics and the living realities of refugees in Wisconsin, with a focus on debunking myths surrounding the refugee population. The panelists will discuss challenges that refugee newcomers encounter in the American school system; barriers to accessing college; and practices for supporting refugee students in higher education.
