Description
Obesity is an increasing concern for human health worldwide, yet hypotheses for the evolution of obesity have rarely been tested in wild populations. Myaim is to better understand the evolution of human obesity and metabolic disorders by studying a well-established nonhuman primate model of these traits both in captivity and in the wild: the vervet monkey (Chlorocebus spp.).
