Dr. Barbara Bowers and Dr. Robyn I. Stone will discuss gerontologic science and practice in an armchair conversation, “Aging Science and the Care of Older Adults.” Dr. Bowers, a preeminent geriatric nursing scientist and School of Nursing professor, will be joined by Dr. Stone, noted researcher and leading authority on aging and long-term care policy and Senior Vice President of Research with LeadingAge. The event will take place October 6, from 7-8:15 p.m., CDT.
