Pottery is one of the most common artifacts in the archaeological record, and is often studied in terms of style, function, and technology. Can it be used to establish social, or collective agency? How? A sample of the ceramics from Area C, Tell Hadidi, was examined for technological choices and how these were influenced by external constraints.
