Lacemaking Workshop with Dagmar Beckel-Machyckova

Join us for a special lacemaking workshop with internationally renowned, Wisconsin-based Dagmar Beckel-Machyckova. Educated at a lace school in Prague, Czech Republic, Dagmar has been pursuing both the preservation of traditional lace patterns and the possibilities of contemporary lace. Her work has been featured on the cover of the IOLI Magazine, and in “Lace, not Lace, Contemporary Fiber Art from Lacemaking Techniques” alongside 26 artists from around the globe.
