Serving or being served by robots? How automation with robot technology transforms work, jobs and the demand for skills

Robots are increasingly used to handle a share of work in healthcare settings, yet their contribution to work are at best opaque. This study contributes with a theoretical framework for understanding why, how and with what consequences robotic automation transforms work.
