Weston Roundtable: Geologic Carbon Storage as a Technology for Reaching Climate Targets
Presented by Professor Chris Zahasky, Department of Geoscience, UW Madison
Thursday, November 18, 2021
Join the Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment (SAGE) for our weekly Weston Roundtable lecture series. This week, Prof. Zahasky will describe carbon capture and storage (CCS) and how it fits into integrated assessment models. He will present recent work using logistic growth models to provide a mathematical framework for stakeholders to monitor short-term CCS deployment progress and long-term resource requirements in the context of climate change mitigation targets.
