A microwear analysis of a sample of 206 long thin blades and blade segments from Early Bronze Age (EBA Ib) contexts at the Ein Zippori site, Lower Galilee, Israel was conducted to determine (1) if true “Canaanean Blades” produced by specialists using a lever, and narrower long thin blades manufactured by indirect percussion or by pressure with a crutch, were designed to be inserted in sickles and used for harvesting cereals, and (2) if some sickle inserts were recycled and used in threshing sled
