Language as Expression in the Latinx Community

A well-rounded conversation, this event will provide a brave space for students to explore how language serves as a form of expression in the Latinx community. By learning about the history of language within the U.S. Latinx community, students will gain a better understanding of the nuances surrounding language in their everyday lives. Through an interactive setting, students will engage with the history of colonization and different identity classifiers such as Hispanic and Latinx/e/o/a.
