Carlos Marentes has been a labor organizer and farm worker advocate since 1977. He's the founder of the Sin Fronteras Organizing Project to support efforts to improve the working & living conditions of migrant & seasonal farm workers of southern New Mexico and far west Texas, as well as the founder & director of the Border Agricultural Workers Project, an effort to organize the farm workers of the US-Mexico border.
