Description
Angeline Boulley, an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, writes about her Ojibwe community in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Her highly regarded debut novel, The Firekeeper’s Daughter, was a CCBC Choices title, a New York Times #1 Bestseller, and received many other accolades. Her new novel, Warrior Girl Unearthed, was released in May 2023. This free public lecture is sponsored by the CCBC and the Friends of the CCBC, and part of the WI Book Festival.
