Description
Ole "Swede" Anderson (Lancaster in his film debut) doesn't even try to run from the two hitmen sent to take his life. And now insurance investigator James Riordan is positively obsessed with the murder victim -- from the Swede's aborted boxing career, to his doomed romance with the gorgeous Kitty Collins. According to novelist Jonathan Lethem, The Killers is "lousy with writerly talent" and "as nested with weird resonances as it is glamorous with obvious pleasures." Restored print!
