In celebration of Lathrop Hall's 100th, the Dance Program welcomes dance historian Janice Ross, professor in the Drama Department and Director of Dance at Stanford University. Author of Moving Lessons (a book about Margaret H’Doubler), San Francisco Ballet at Seventy-Five, and Anna Halprin: Experience as Dance (de la Torre Bueno Award citation), her dance essays have been published in several anthologies. Ross is also President of the international Society of Dance History Scholars.
