Ecotones: A Musical Ecology of Wisconsin

This concert at the Overture Center's Promenade Hall is part of the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies' 40th anniversary celebration of Earth Day. The program includes Douglas Hill's "Horizons" for tenor, clarinet, horn, cello, and piano; John Stevens' "Seasons" featuring the Wisconsin Brass Quintet; Chris Bocast's "The Awakening Land" for guitar, ebow and piano; Michael Bell's "Gatherings" for "class-grass" ensemble; and Douglas Hill's "Marshland."
