Foreign Film Screening:The Hero

We will be showing the movie "The Hero," a film made in Angola about the individual and societal struggles faced by a country trying to recover from more than four decades of conflict. Zézé Gamboa, director of the film, has stated that he considers himself in the camp of African filmmakers who see their work as contributing directly to the task of national reconstruction. “The Hero is a universal story."
