Art Department Wednesday Talks: Lori Nix

Brooklyn-based artist, Lori Nix will be speaking of her work as a photographer. She is a photographer who builds miniature dioramas to create surreal scenes and landscapes. Nix constructs these labor-intensive dioramas to give a sense of impending disaster: a plane about to fall from the sky, a swarm of insects descending onto a field of wheat, or a dilapidated building in ruins.
