Presented by So Eun Park, research assistant, Department of Communicative Disorders. The auditory middle latency responses (AMLR) undergo morphological changes with aging. Specifically, the amplitude of Pa increases and is more variable in aging individuals. However, the mechanisms are poorly understood. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of hearing loss and aging on the AMLRs.
