LACIS NAVE Visiting Scholar Pablo de Lora, (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid) is a leading Spanish scholar specializing in law and bioethics and a frequent contributor to El País. He has published a number of books on these topics as well as on animal rights, the right for healthcare and other questions related to ethics of democracy, life and death. Throughout this year he is working on organ transplantation, an issue also obsessing Spanish film director, Pedro Almodóvar.
