Dr. Jane Mt. Pleasant, an associate professor of horticulture and former director of the American Indian Program at Cornell University, studies indigenous American agriculture and indigenous knowledge. This is the second of a three-part lecture series sponsored by the Botany Department, WISELI, University Lectures Committee, American Indian Studies (AIS), CIAS, Agroecology MSc, Anthropology Department, CHE, and UW-Madison chapter of SACNAS.
