These three illustrated lectures focus on: The history of maritime navigation as the ability to circumnavigate the entire world became a reality; 67 years of daring rescues by the men of the Coast Guard's predecessor, the U.S. Life-Saving Service; the sinking of the steamer S.S. Wisconsin off Kenosha in October, 1929; and the 1998 death of the F/V Linda-E. Also meets on Wednesdays April 17 and 25.
