Woodwind-Piano Duo Competition Winners

Flutist Mi-Li Chang and pianist Kirstin Ihde begin the program with sonatas by Brahms and Martin Amlin. Clarinetist Laura McLaughlin and pianist Julie Page perform works by William Bolcom, Carl Reinecke and Joseph Horovitz. All four winners are current doctoral students at the School of Music. The annual competition is sponsored by Chancellor Emeritus Irving Shain. A reception follows the concert.
